Privacy and cookie policy

Effective from 2 November 2026.

1. Data controller

2. “Ask about price / availability” form

I collect your name, e-mail address or phone number and your message, as well as your IP address to protect the form against spam. The data is used to answer your inquiry and, where applicable, to sell the artwork (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR). I keep it until our correspondence ends and then for the limitation period for claims, no longer than 3 years. If a sale takes place, accounting documents are kept for 5 years as required by tax law.

3. Newsletter

You can subscribe to the newsletter using the form on the Contact page by providing your full name and e-mail address (your name is used to address you in the messages). The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR). Your subscription becomes active only after you click the confirmation link sent to your address. The newsletter is sent from news@princekarol.art. Every message contains an unsubscribe link — you can withdraw your consent at any time without affecting the lawfulness of earlier mailings. I keep your address until you unsubscribe; after that I keep only the record of the unsubscription so that you are not contacted again.

4. Business contacts

I may obtain contact details of companies and industry professionals (e.g. interior design studios, hotels, galleries) from publicly available sources such as websites and social media profiles in order to propose artistic cooperation. The legal basis is my legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Commercial offers are sent only after obtaining consent. To read contact details from screenshots, I use an AI tool provided by Google (Gemini). You may object at any time and your data will be deleted.

5. Recipients of data

Data may be shared only with service providers who help me run the website and sales: the hosting company (LH.pl), the e-mail provider, Google (website fonts and the AI tool), courier companies when shipping artworks, and my accounting office. I do not sell or share data with anyone else.

6. Your rights

You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict processing, to data portability, to object, and to withdraw consent at any time. You may also lodge a complaint with the Polish supervisory authority: President of the Personal Data Protection Office (UODO), ul. Stawki 2, 00-193 Warsaw.

7. Cookies

The website does not use advertising or analytics cookies. The only (session) cookie is set after logging in to the artist panel. Website fonts are loaded from Google servers, which receive the visitor's IP address. Panel display settings (e.g. light/dark theme) are stored only in your browser.
